We’re Hiring – CAD Design & CNC Specialist!

At TMM Group, we’re passionate about combining design, technology, and craftsmanship to deliver world-class solutions to the Australian marine industry. As the Australian distributor for Marine Mat EVA/PE flooring, Shadow-Caster Lighting, Wet Sounds Audio and our own developed line of products and marine solutions - Nauti Boat Bits, we’re growing fast – and we’re looking for a CAD Design & CNC Specialist to help shape the next phase of our expansion.

This is a hands-on role, for someone who thrives in a creative, tech-driven environment with a passion for the marine industry and wants to see their designs come to life on the water.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Template, design, manufacture and install Marine Mat EVA/PE Flooring for boats, vehicles and other using the latest 3D Scanning technology

Design and protype new products using Fusion 360 for marine fit-out and our Nauti Boat Bits product line – prior experience is a bonus, but hands-on training is provided

Create and prepare files for laser engraving (Lightburn) and operating CO2 laser and CNC router machines for custom switch panels, dash panels and general plastics

Operating CNC router machine for fabricating products using EVA/PE foam, general plastics and acrylics

Installation of finished EVA/PE foam flooring

Liaise with clients to translate their vision into a high-quality finished product

Assist with general workshop tasks and contribute to a smooth operation

What We’re Looking For:

Strong computer skills and a natural aptitude for design software

Experience with – or interest in – CAD design, CNC machinery, or digital fabrication

Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality

Tech-savvy, creative thinker who enjoys solving practical design challenges

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team

Passion for boating, design, and hands-on tech work

Must-Haves:

Permanent residency and full Australian working rights

WA driver’s license (manual preferred)

Ability to perform physical, hands-on tasks when needed

Forklift license is a bonus (but not essential)
