CNC Solutions is a modern engineering company based in port Hedland west Australia. We specialise in supplying complex engineering solutions to the local iron ore industry throughout the Pilbara.

Our modern well-equipped, air-conditioned workshop has the capacity to design in CAD, CNC machine from billet and fabricate in house as per our customers' requirements.

The opportunity:

The machinist's we are seeking would be described as easy going with a strong work ethic and the ability to understand and adapt to the complex nature of working FIFO in the Pilbara. We are a SolidWorks / SolidCam driven workshop, and we would always prefer to add a radius than a chamfer, as we value aesthetics and precision equally.

About you:

• Trade qualified.
• A self-starter with a passion for the trade.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong commitment towards safety and quality.
• CNC milling experience - 4 axis simultaneous highly regarded.
• CNC turning experience.
• CAM programming experience - SolidCam preferred.
• CAD interpretation skills.
• Manual milling and turning experience.
• Current WA driver's license.
• Pre-employment medical, drug alcohol screen.
• National police clearance.

An hourly rate of $55 - $65 per hour is on offer pending skills as well as a $210 retention bonus per pay (conditions apply).
