The Property Compliance Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for driving compliance excellence, mentoring property teams, and ensuring alignment with legislative and company standards. You’ll audit property management practices, guide continuous improvement, and deliver strategic support across our regional operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead compliance governance for property management and trust accounting.
Conduct internal audits and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with regulations.
Train and mentor property staff on compliance protocols and regulatory updates. Regular travel to site required.
Oversee documentation accuracy and tenant compliance issues.
Develop and implement streamlined, standardised work practices across towns.
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
Manage licensing compliance and CPD tracking for property staff.
Act as the point of contact for WA departmental compliance audits.
Qualifications
Preferred Diploma of Property / Minimum Property Management Registration
Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential property management
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, Visio, and Publisher
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to lead, mentor, and train a dispersed and dynamic team
In-depth knowledge of WA property legislation and regulatory compliance
High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated experience in audit preparation and corporate governance
