The Opportunity
As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in providing technical support to maintain and enhance critical enterprise systems, including HRIS, ERP, Payroll, Rostering, EDMS and clinical applications. Your standard work day will consist of support issues, project work, and developing relationships with key stakeholders. Our systems operate both on-premise and on the cloud, serving a diverse user base. This full time position reports directly to the IT Manager within our innovative IT team, offering an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact within our organisation's technology platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing end-user requirements and how they connect with organisational processes and workflows, then recommending solutions that leverage current and future technologies
- Providing technical support, maintenance, and enhancements to enterprise systems such as the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), and clinical applications.
- Conveying technical information clearly and concisely to a diverse customer base, including documentation, reporting, presentations, workshops and/or delivery of training.
- Effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders, including I.T. manager & operations, Executive team, systems Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as well as 3rd party technical teams and account managers.
- Effectively prioritising & actioning tasks assigned through incident tickets, activities outlined in formal project plans, regular interactions with key stakeholders, and tasks assigned from the I.T. Manager.
About you
Essential
- Demonstrated experience and/or a relevant tertiary qualification in systems management
- 3-5 years of experience in System Support with strong aptitude for incident management & customer service
- Proven stakeholder management & communication skills, with experience effectively articulating technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience managing hosted solutions via vendor relationships, third party utilities and Azure
- Experience with ERP, HRIS, payroll, rostering and clinical systems is preferred
- Solid experience across entire Project life cycle, business analysis, project management and change management
- Strong documentation skills with preferred experience in business process mapping
- Experience with integration is strongly preferred. Including APIs and general middleware
- Highly developed skills across all Microsoft 365 suite, Windows servers, email gateways & firewalls
- Good understanding of data networking principles
Desirable:
- Certificate in ITIL foundation is preferred
- Aged Care/Health services industry expertise (preferred but not essential)
