We are NT Electrical Group, and our Executive team are looking for a highly motivated, organised, and ambitious HSEQ Co-Ordinator to work with our Safety Team.

Who Are You?

We are seeking a highly organised and passionate HSEQ Co-Ordinator to join our safety team. This role shall help in assisting the Safety Manager to achieve Health and Safety compliance and support continuous improvement across multiple sites and projects.

Reporting to the Safety Manager, responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

· Assist with the companies WH&S statutory requirements

· Induct new employees and subcontractors to the company

· Review contractor documentation to ensure compliance

· Input into monthly company Tool Box meetings

· Hold safety talks with staff on construction sites

· Co-ordinate training

· Identify Hazards in the workplace and assist in implementing control measures

· Maintain plant and equipment registers

· Conduct risk assessments, WH&S audits & inspections

· Preparation of SWMS & safety/environment management plans (and project start up)

· General administration duties/assist in tender submissions

· Maintain records and documentation compliance within company’s Integrated Management System

· Maintain WHS information on Contractor Safety software systems.

· Assist in incident reporting and investigations

Desired Qualifications:

· Certificate IV in WH&S

· Must have Construction White Card

· Current Drivers Licence

· Strong leadership & communications skills

· Be an advanced user of Microsoft Office

· Highly organised and have a practical mindset

· Solution orientated and a team player, experienced dealing with a diverse range of people

· Previous experience in a HSEQ Co-Ordinator position.

· Previous experience in the construction industry (Defence experience would be an advantage).
