As we prepare for exponential growth over the next 12–24 months, we’re looking for a dedicated and driven Installation Manager to join our high-performing team and play a key role in our expansion journey.

Position Summary

We’re seeking a career-focused and self-motivated Installation Manager who is ready to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our installation department. This is a dynamic and autonomous role designed for someone who wants to learn the full scope of operations on the installation side and grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Communication: Engage with customers to coordinate and schedule their solar and battery installations, ensuring clarity, confidence, and satisfaction at every step.

Team Coordination: Communicate with electricians and install teams on the road, providing updates, support, and direction.

Warehouse & Inventory Oversight: Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all required stock is prepared, available, and delivered accurately and on time.

Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Make executive decisions that reflect the company’s values and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Operational Oversight: Track job progress, resolve on-site or scheduling issues, and oversee end-to-end installation workflow.

Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current operations and propose practical improvements.

Customer Experience: Champion Talk Energy’s customer-first philosophy by ensuring seamless, stress-free installs and follow-ups.

What We’re Looking For

Strong organisational skills with a passion for streamlined, efficient processes

Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in high-paced environments

Natural communicator – confident interacting with tradespeople, warehouse staff, and customers alike

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple installations simultaneously

Solution-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Preferred Experience

Experience in solar or electrical installation project management (preferred but not essential)

Understanding of solar and battery systems and associated logistics

Proficiency in using scheduling, CRM, or project management software

Previous leadership or coordination role in operations or field services
