Work Health and Safety Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for a WHS Officer in the Aged Care or Healthcare industry to join an established NFP-provider in the South Coast of NSW!

About the Role
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and upholding Work Health and Safety systems, processes, policies, legislation, frameworks, and initiatives at Aged Care Centres.

About the opportunity

• This role can be a permanent, part-time 3 days a week. OR as a full-time 5 days a week role also supporting a site in ACT.
• This is a Regional position, which will involve travel between 3/4 residential sites. There is reimbursment for km expenses and accomodation arranged for overnight stays.
• Salary in the region of 83-95k (depending on experience) + NFP salary packaging to supplement your earnings!

Key Skills Required

• In depth understanding of Work, Health and Safety.
• Strong communication skills working with multidisiplinary teams.
• Understanding and familiarity with Aged Care or Healthcare teams.
• A passion for providing a safe living space for elderly residents.

Role Essentials

• Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety
• 3 years of experience in Work, Health & Safety.
• Fire Officer Accreditation
• Proven experience in a WHS or HR generalist role within the Aged Care OR Healthcare industry
• Current Driving Licence with flexibility to travel when required.
• Own vehicle.
