Due to our recent growth on the national footprint, there is an opportunity to join our company as a WHS - QEHS team member with an immediate start.

Job Summary: This role is responsible for managing safety, quality and environment with certification to these respective standards. They will be providing advice, support and training to Managers and Team members in all aspects of WHS - QEHS. Furthermore, workers compensation premium management is also a major responsibility.

This opportunity offers for the suitable applicant options of Part-Time or Full-Time employment (when combined with other admin tasks).

Major Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits to quality, safety and environmental management standards.

• Facilitate and drive any change within the organisations management systems.

• Identify, assess and control foreseeable hazards.

• Assist with tender writing.

• Manage the organisations industrial matters.

• Manage workers compensation premiums in consultation with brokers and specialist advisors.

• Manage injury management in consultation with all interested parties to a claim.

• Attend claims reviews and medical case conferences as required.

• Develop and deliver training.

• Manage the safety hotline.

• Assist with HR/admin duties as required

Qualifications:

• Certificate IV in OHS/WHS or Diploma in WHS

• First Aid Certification

• Full Australian Working Rights

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in WHS- QEHS

• Valid Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport

• Experience in the Cleaning Industry an advantage, but not essential

• Strong written & verbal communication skills
