IT support engineer to support MSP customers, less than 100 seats, typical corporate environment. Based in Sydney, hybrid is supported and 90% of the work can be done remotely. Our MSP is cybersecurity focused so you will get some exposure there.
You will be part of a 30 person technical team(from sister company) so you will be trained and supported.
Requirements:
Min 2 years IT commercial experience, OR hard core technical home lab with Linux, WIndows AD
experience supporting Windows desktops and basic servers;
some experience with Linux servers troubleshooting would be ideal;
basic network troubleshooting in an office environment;
Office 365 administration;
comfortable talking to customers.
Must be based in Sydney, no exceptions, some onsite visits required. The ideal candidate is someone who is hungry to learn, has some previous MSP experience and wants to run challenging projects. In the first 30-90 days you must work from our Sydney CBD office for training.
There are two options for this role:
You are an energetic, technical, hands-on person with 2+ years of experience, who wants to grow their career;
OR someone with 7+ years of hands on technical experience in IT who wants to own an IT company. For this type of candidate, 30% equity in the company will be given to incentivise growth, while the company will provide support, finds and people.
