About the Role:
As our Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, innovative dishes that showcase fresh, local ingredients. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in menu planning and development with a focus on modern Australian cuisine.
• Managing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and quality control.
• Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Contributing creative ideas to elevate the dining experience for our guests.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating memorable dishes.
• Knowledge of current food trends and a commitment to using fresh, sustainable ingredients.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to thrive in a busy kitchen.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery) are highly regarded.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work under pressure.
