Accounts Officer

Office-based role in Artarmon (near Chatswood)

Full-time, $60,000 - $70,000 per annum + super, based on experience

On-the-job training will be provided

On-site parking or easy access to public transport

The Role

In this role, your emphasis on people and relationships will be crucial to your success. Your daily responsibilities will centre around maintaining our client files, ensuring that our contracted obligations are fulfilled, and keeping the information needed for contract management up to date.

While managing your daily workload, you will cultivate positive stakeholder relationships, surpass our clients’ expectations, and ensure we provide value to our client portfolio. A solid understanding of contract administration, relationship building, budgets and costs, service delivery, and stakeholder management is essential for success in this role.

In this role, you will:

Set up new customer accounts and job details in our systems

Perform reconciliations for accounts receivable and accounts payable invoicing

Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate recording of asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation

Update job costing files and assist with budget setups

Process and record job terminations, communicating the same to key stakeholders

Monitor and respond to contract-related inquiries from clients and internal teams

Maintain accurate documentation for contracts, including signed agreements and client records

Manage changes and update the appropriate systems as needed

Support the sales team during the tendering and quoting process

Assist with monthly reporting and job cost exports

Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have the following:

Experience in a similar role will be an advantage

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

An eye for detail

Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly

Strong organisational and administration skills

A National Criminal History check is required for this role (no more than three (3) months old)
