About the role

We are seeking an exceptional fulltime Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Bobbi's. This is a rare opportunity as our current Head Chef has held the role for over five years, and we’re now looking for the right person to take the reins.

You’ll oversee kitchen operations, mentor a skilled team of chefs and kitchen staff, and bring creativity to our menu, which blends Italian favourites, elevated pub fare and hand-stretched wood-fired pizzas.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Create innovative menus featuring seasonal, local ingredients

Uphold high standards in food preparation and presentation

Manage inventory and ensure cost-effective purchasing

Work with management to enhance kitchen operations

Promote a positive and safe kitchen environment

Adhere to food safety and health regulations

About You

You bring a robust work ethic and experience, along with:

Extensive experience as a Head or Sous Chef in fast-paced kitchens

A proven ability to lead and develop high-performing kitchen teams

Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for innovative, flavorful dishes

Strong expertise in food costs, inventory management, and budgeting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective staff management

A commitment to upholding the highest food safety and hygiene standards

Knowledge of Italian cuisine and pub classics (preferred but not essential)
