Newtrend IT are looking for an experienced IT Support technician to join our team. The right candidate will assist to support our client base both through remote and onsite methods.
The role would initially be “work from home” however it would quickly evolve to include onsite and then office based in our South Australian office.
We are very keen on finding someone who is a great communicator and a team player.
We would fly you to Perth initially for training and onboarding , following this regular visits to Perth for team immersion would be scheduled.

Technical Support

SKILLS REQUIRED
You will be able to confidently and consistently provide first rate customer service.
You will have excellent verbal and written "no geek speak" communication skills.
A solid work ethic and drive to get the job done thoroughly and correctly.
Well-developed troubleshooting skills.
Broad network administration and/or support experience.
Experience in the following technologies (preferred, not essential )
Windows Server (2008-2025)
Server roles and services (DHCP, DNS, DFSR, AD, etc)
MS Windows based workstations
Hypervisor technologies - Hyper-v, Vmware
Cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud and Office365/Azure
Active Directory
Group Policy / Intune
Office 365 technologies
Network Devices (Routers, Switches, WAPs etc)
Network Services
Backup Technologies (Shadowprotect and Veeam)
Connectwise and Labtech
MSP tools
Telephony - 3CX , Cisco and cloud hosted PBX
Any other specialist skills you may possess are also of interest to us. If you have solid technical skills and are interested in working for an MSP that will allow you to provide next level of service to your clients, we're keen to hear from you.
