SBC is a leading provider of OH&S, insurance, risk management and case management systems in Australia, is currently seeking a Help Desk Officer/ Software Tester to join our Adelaide office. We also have offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland and clients throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific.
The major accountabilities of the role include:
Acting as a first point of call for information requests related to projects and dealing with service related information requests.
Troubleshooting issues and problem solving support requests.
Software Testing.
Co-ordination of User Acceptance Testing with end users, project team members and software engineering team members across Australia and New Zealand.
Preparation and execution of test plans using test management software.
Assistance with Specification documentation tasks.
Preparation of training guides and end user documentation.
The key selection criteria for this position are as follows:
Advanced written and oral skills in the English language.
Proven documentation skills for IT Projects.
Experience with automated testing tools.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
A demonstrated ability to work effectively, with limited supervision and as part of a small team.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and work with a Project team operating at multiple locations.
Experience with format software testing, preparation of test plans and/or functional requirements would be highly regarded.
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, from an Australian or New Zealand university.
