About the position:
The Administrative Support Officer position provides a high-quality customer focussed services and programmes, meeting the information and reading needs of the community.
The position supports Library Staff with the provision of specialist programmes, which may include but are not limited to the Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival and the Randolph Stow Young Writers Awards. As well as support and assist the provision of services, which record, preserve and promote built and cultural heritage in the City of Greater Geraldton.
Ensure a professional work environment and to strive to continuously improve teamwork processes and effectiveness in the work area and across the organisation.
This is a part-time role working up to 42 hours per fortnight.
Key accountabilities:
Provide excellent customer service to library clients to ensure organisational objectives are achieved.
Assist the Manager with the circulation of general correspondence, bookings for venues, services and guest speakers and other administration duties related to the Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival and the Randolph Stow Young Writers Awards
Assist with the preparation of Library banking and financial reconciliation.

Position requirements:
The Geraldton Regional Library is a busy community hub which offers a wide range of library and information services for people of all ages and backgrounds.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
The Administrative Support Officer position has a salary starting from $78,497 per annum pro rata or $39.7255 per hour, offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
