About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic and innovative company and take the next step in their career. This role is available due to an internal promotion and will be working closely alongside the Senior Financial Accountant and Group FC. This role assists with month end close and reporting, year end reporting and audit. The business have a flexible work from home arrangement once you're settled in, and promote internal development and opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Completion of month end reporting deadlines including preparation of month end journals such as prepayments, accruals, general journals, provisions and other month end tasks
• Trend analysis of month-end P&L reports
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support with cost center reporting, analysis and decision-support
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, systems and internal controls
• Stakeholder management across the wider business

Ideally this person will have:

• Experience using D365 is highly desirable, or otherwise a larger ERP software
• Must be studying towards CA/CPA
• Demonstrated experience with month end accounting & reporting
• Have intermediate to advanced excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoys working in a team based environment
