Randstad is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to join our clients vibrant team in Myrtleford Rural Victoria. About the Role:

As our clients Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be the heart of their resident's social and recreational lives. You will play a key role in improving their quality of life by developing and delivering engaging programs that cater to their diverse needs and interests. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Deliver Engaging Programs: Develop, plan, and facilitate a diverse calendar of lifestyle programs encompassing physical activities, cognitive stimulation, creative expression, social interactions, and emotional well-being initiatives.
• Person-Centred Approach: Collaborate closely with residents, their families, and our care team to understand individual preferences, abilities, and goals, ensuring programs are tailored and meaningful.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lifestyle programs, using feedback and observations to adapt and enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
• Integrated Care: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to align lifestyle activities with residents' individual care plans, promoting holistic well-being.
• Event Management: Oversee the seamless scheduling and organisation of events, ensuring all activities are well-planned, resourced, and accessible.
• Community Building: Cultivate a warm, inclusive, and supportive community atmosphere, encouraging active participation and fostering meaningful connections among residents.
• Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records of activities, resident attendance, and feedback, providing regular reports to management.
• Volunteer Coordination: Support and coordinate our Volunteer Program, maximising their contribution to enriching resident experiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or equivalent qualification).
• Current and valid Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Current Level II First Aid Certificate.
• A minimum of 12 months of demonstrated experience in a similar Lifestyle Coordinator role within the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of the unique needs and preferences of older adults.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
• A creative, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to developing and implementing engaging and meaningful activities.
• Genuine empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents.
