mecwacare looking for a passionate and creative Lifestyle Coordinator to inspire and support our residents in living active, engaging, and independent lives. Based in a welcoming aged care setting, you’ll plan and deliver lifestyle programs that promote wellbeing, connection, and joy—tailored to the unique interests and needs of our residents. The centre’s lifestyle program is brimming with interesting and entertaining activities, specifically designed to keep residents’ hands and minds stimulated. From arts and crafts to music and live performers or community events, there is always something for each resident at the Malvern Centre. Located in the heart of Malvern, mecwacare Malvern Centre offers exceptional residential care for 91 residents, with easy access to the city, medical facilities, shopping, and public transport. The centre features modern amenities including a gym, physiotherapy services, hair and beauty salon, library, and cinema. Residents enjoy a vibrant lifestyle program with activities ranging from arts and crafts to live entertainment. Stylish interiors, curated art, and a variety of inviting indoor and outdoor spaces create a welcoming and enriching environment.

What you bring:

• Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure), Diversional Therapy and/or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level
• Proven ability to assess each resident social and emotional needs and design appropriate, individual lifestyle programs to meet their needs
• An understanding of the ageing process and caring for older people
• Self-motivation with well-developed organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, delegate and attend to multiple tasks
• Well-developed communication skills
• Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Desirable: Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
