mecwacare is seeking a passionate and creative Lifestyle Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Annie’s Court, nestled in the heart of Shoreham on the Mornington Peninsula. Set amid tranquil landscapes, close to pristine beaches and the Shoreham Nature Reserve, Annie’s Court is a beautifully renovated aged care home designed for comfort, well-being, and connection. In this rewarding role, you’ll design and deliver vibrant, resident-focused programs that support independence, joy, and community. With access to outstanding amenities—including private lounges, a hair and beauty salon, gymnasium, and landscaped gardens—you’ll help create a warm, engaging atmosphere that truly feels like home. What you bring:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure), Diversional Therapy and/or relevant qualification at Certificate IV level
  • Demonstrated ability to assess individual resident needs and develop tailored lifestyle programs that support social and emotional wellbeing
  • Genuine interest in supporting older people, with a kind understanding of the ageing journey
  • A motivated and organised team player who enjoys bringing people together and managing activities with care and enthusiasm
  • Strong communication skills that help build trust and connection with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Sound understanding of the ageing process and a compassionate approach to caring for older adults
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, delegate, and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Records Check
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Desirable: Current Working with Children Check (WWC)
