Our client is a highly reputable accounting practice located in Melbourne’s CBD. Consisting of 8 Partners and 50+ staff this firm has had a presence in the local market for a number of years and delivers accounting compliance and advisory services to privately owned businesses.

The Opportunity

This position is suitable for an existing Manager seeking a new of environment with a clearer career pathway.

This is a crucial hire to the firm as this individual will play an integral part in the firm’s on-going success and growth in the market working with the support of the Partner group. Coming into an established client base you will have a strong Business Services/Advisory background and hit the ground running with the firm’s existing clients.

Hybrid working model - 3 days in the office / 2 days WFH

Ability to progress quickly to Director, no roadblocks attributed to not enough years served.

Equity options are on offer for staff members

Responsibilities

Providing compliance and advisory services to High-Net-Worth Individuals, Partnerships, Companies and Trusts.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients

Managing junior staff members and delegating work as required.

Requirements

CA/CPA qualified.

Experience as an experienced Senior Accountant or Manager.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a boutique, mid-tier or Big 4 Private Clients group.

Bachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting

Strong communication skills

Eligible to work in Australia.
