Salary: AUD 73,150 – 75,000

Royal Hotel Mundubbera has vacancy openings for Chefs. We are looking for experienced and qualified candidates to join our team.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare full range of foods including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Prepare, serve and store food items in regards to the requirements of the Royal Hotel Mundubbera Kitchen.
• Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Ensuring meals are prepared in a professional manner according to the Royal Hotel Mundubbera stranders.
• Maintain excellent presentation standards.
• Freeze and preserve foods according to the requirements of our Kitchen.
• Ensure all work place policies and procedures, health and hygiene requirements are adhered to.
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly.
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies with Head Chef.
• Monitoring, ordering and managing stocks.
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships with all staff in the Kitchen.
• Discussing food preparation issues with head chef.
• Train the kitchen staff.
• Supervise and assist the kitchen staff in the Head Chef’s absence.
• The ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and evenings.
• A willingness to work split shifts.
• To behave in a manner appropriate to your standing within the business.

Relevant Qualifications and Experiences:
• AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
• At least 03 years of work experiences as a Chef.
