Moniaarti Pty Ltd atf T/as 5 Boroughs Ascot QLD 4007 are looking for Chefs on a Full time Permanent & ongoing basis, for their extremely Busy restaurant at 120 Racecourse Road, Ascot, QLD. We require Chefs with a strong background of cooking steaks and typical Australian cuisine on order basis for a busy Restaurant in Ascot QLD.

Mentioned below are the requirements, duties and roles of the right candidate, but they are not limited to the

following:

- Must have Australian work experience in a busy kitchen/restaurant.

-Be fully conversant with the health and safety regulation in Australia.

- Be able to work ODD hours

Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.

- Examining foodstuff to ensure quality.

-Regulating temperatures of Ovens grills and other cooking equipment.

-Preparing, cooking and seasoning food.

-Portioning food, placing on plate, adding gravies and garnishing to the Dishes.

-Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities.

-Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.

-Required to estimate and prepare the food for catering orders.

-Suitable candidate must be able to work as a team in under pressure environment.

Also we expect the candidate to follow all preset recipes, be able to adjust them too as per the requirements of the customers and be able to train junior kitchen staff in the basic handling of duties.

-Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

-Oversee and manage kitchen operations

-Clean and organize kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations

-preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities

- Train apprentices and other kitchen staff Additional duties

- Recording food temperature

Salary offered as per experience: $73,000 -

$75,000

Experience:

- Cook/ Chef: 2-3 years
