Alchemy Recruitment is seeking a Mining Surveyor to fulfill the survey functions at a well-established and stable underground mine. This role will require relocation to Tasmania.

About the role:
In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Mine Surveyor and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely survey support to the underground mining operation. Specifically, you will:

• Provide spatial control for the execution of engineering designs underground
• Capture, process, and store spatial data in compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Record excavation progress and monitor underground service locations
• Operate drones for Lidar scanning and void surveys
• Assist with end-of-month (EOM) reporting and spatial data analysis
• Support operational teams by ensuring accurate survey data is available for development planning

What we're looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or Geomatics
• Strong attention to detail and data management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced underground environment
• Experience in underground mining and Deswik software is desirable
• Drone experience (preferred but not essential)
• A proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety and teamwork
