About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, dependable and motivated Hard Waste Assistant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our hard waste collection fleet at our Campbellfield depot. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday, early starts would be required with the occasional Saturday work when necessary.

Job Requirements

Oversee and coordinate daily council waste collection operations.

Support the supervision of 18+ staff and 10 waste collection vehicles to ensure efficient, safe, and timely fulfillment of contract requirements.

Manage staff, including rostering, resource allocation, training, and leading a diverse team effectively.

Oversee fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are used efficiently and safely for collection activities.

About you:

Previous supervisory experience essential.

Ability to problem solve in a busy environment.

Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
