About the Company
Our client is a well-regarded and growing player in the transport and logistics sector, servicing retail DCs, 3PL providers, and major transport clients. As they continue to evolve their operation, they are seeking a confident and practical PM Operations Supervisor to oversee their afternoon shift and lead driver performance with accountability and care.

The Role
You will report into a senior operations leader and be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the PM shift (approx. 12pm–10pm). This includes fleet coordination, driver direction, and ensuring a smooth transition to the night team. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires clear communication, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to keeping freight moving.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise a fleet of approximately 40 trucks in the PM window
• Provide direction and leadership to a team of drivers
• Manage shift performance and ensure clean handover to night operations
• Work closely with 3PLs, DCs, and transport clients
• Monitor CoR compliance and support basic outsourced maintenance
• Bring structure, clarity, and efficiency to daily operations

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in transport operations, preferably linehaul
• Strong people management and driver-facing communication
• Comfort working in a hands-on, small-business environment
• Basic understanding of diesel trucks is advantageous
• Ability to work flexibly and deal with ambiguity
