An exciting opportunity to join a great Community Club as Rawson’s Bistro & Bar Supervisor at Swansea Workers Co-Operative Club Ltd. With its focus on the Community, supplying great food, excellent facilities and two grass bowling greens, Swansea Workers Club is truly a great place to be. Located in beautiful Lake Macquarie, 1.5 hours north of Sydney and surrounded by Ocean and Lake.

Swansea Workers Club offers excellent in-house catering across two main outlets, Rawson’s Bistro and Café as well as a Cocktail Bar, a busy Main Bar, Function Room as well as a Gaming Room with 32 EGM’s, TAB and Keno facilities.

We are currently looking for a supervisor to oversee and operate our extremely popular Rawson’s Bistro & Bar. To be considered for this role, you will be proficient in the following:

• Be well presented, bubbly and approachable with a focus on excellent customer service.

• Lead and manage employees across the Club’s FOH catering operations. You have the ability to work autonomously and part of a team.

• Take customer orders with accurate cash handling skills.

• Having a strong work ethic that makes you a reliable and dependable team member.

• Barista\Bar experience an advantage but not essential.

• Current RSA. If you don’t have RSA, the Club will assist you in ascertaining your certificate.

• Flexible to work as per roster, with availability on weekdays / nights and weekends.

• Keeping the workplace clean, safe and hygienic.

• Have full Australian working rights.

The Rawson’s Bistro & Bar Supervisor is a salary-based position based on a 38-hour week, working Tuesday to Saturday. Due to the nature of the work, you must be over the age of 18 years to apply.
