What you will be doing
Reporting directly to Lead, Instructional Products, in this role you will:
Business-partner with subject matter experts to develop a working knowledge of election procedures that need to be documented to support election delivery
Produce accurate, comprehensive and user-friendly work instructions for the temporary election workforce to use during election delivery
Contribute to the publication process to ensure work instruction publications (e.g. manuals, guides, tasksheets) are published by required due dates
Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the VECs by-election work instruction publication suite to respond to procedural changes and stakeholder feedback
Contribute to the planning, development and scheduling of the Instructional Products work program
What you will bring to the role:
Demonstrated experience delivering a variety of clear, accurate and user-focused work instructions
Proven ability to comprehend, investigate and deconstruct complex processes
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a responsive delivery environment
Commitment to the VEC’s core values

The Victorian Electoral Commission is an independent and impartial statutory authority established under Victoria's Electoral Act 2002.
