What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Manager, Instructional Products, this role will be responsible for:

Leading a team of technical writers and instructional designers to produce work instructions for the temporary election workforce for use at the 2026 State Election and any by-elections

Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop a working knowledge of the election procedures to be able to support the team with the creation of work instructions

Coaching and directing technical writers to ensure work instructions are accurate and comprehensively reflect procedures, and are user-friendly in line with agreed standards

Ensuring the team meet content development and production timelines, whilst working with the Manager, Instructional Products, to identify and rectify any timeline slippage

Contribute to the planning, development and scheduling of the Instructional Products work program

What you will bring to the role

Demonstrated experience delivering a variety of clear, accurate and user-focused work instructions

Proven ability to comprehend, investigate and deconstruct complex processes

High-level verbal and written communication skills

The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced business environment
