About the role

Organic Feast is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in East Maitland, NSW for approximately 15-30hrs per week. In this casual role, you will be responsible for creating delicious, sustainable dishes that showcase the best of local, organic produce.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, ensuring consistently high standards of quality and presentation

Work closely with the kitchen team to plan and develop new menu items that cater to customer preferences and dietary requirements

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience as a professional Chef

Availability to work weekends and with a flexible roster

Demonstrated expertise in creating high-quality, creative dishes using fresh, seasonal and organic ingredients

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Passion for sustainable and ethical food practices
