We’re working with a global organisation seeking a Junior Support Engineer to join their Sydney-based IT team on a 2-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone with 6–18 months of experience in IT support to step into a hands-on role and contribute to onboarding, service desk, and technical troubleshooting tasks.

About the Role:

As a Junior Support Engineer, you’ll be part of a small team supporting 400+ users across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. You’ll assist with day-to-day support operations including:

Managing Level 1 support tickets via Jira Service Desk

Setting up and configuring laptops and user accounts for new starters

Troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices (break/fix, access issues, patching)

Supporting Microsoft 365 and basic applications

Helping with device deployment and general desktop support

Delivering excellent customer service both in person and remotely

What We’re Looking For:

12+ months of experience in IT support, help desk, or service desk environments

Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and macOS

Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira or FreshService

Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude

Ability to follow process, document work, and work effectively within a team

Contract Details:

Start date: Early June (ideally before the 9th)

Duration: 2-month contract

Location: Sydney CBD – Hybrid (4 days in-office)

Interview process: Single-stage interview with the hiring manager
