We are seeking an experienced Sous/Head/Executive Chef to build our team at the coming Seafood Restaurant in Chatswood, NSW. As a full-time role, you will lead our kitchen in creating exceptional dining experiences for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and strategic vision in a thriving hospitality environment.
What you'll be doing
Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
Develop creative and innovative menu items using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with regulations
Lead, train, and motivate a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff
Collaborate with the management team to drive continuous improvement in the kitchen
Monitor and control food costs to maintain profitability
What we're looking for
Extensive experience as a Sous, Head, or Executive Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality environment
Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and driving culinary excellence
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry
Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills
Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients to create imaginative and delicious menu items
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to inspire and motivate your team
