Exciting Opportunity for Diesel/Mechanical Fitters in Brisbane!

Are you a skilled Diesel/Mechanical Fitter seeking a rewarding opportunity with a growing Brisbane business? Key Responsibilities:

Machine Servicing: Conduct routine servicing to ensure optimal performance of forklifts, excavators, trucks, and other heavy machinery.

Breakdown Repairs: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

General Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to prolong equipment life and prevent unexpected failures.

Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and identify mechanical problems.

Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and time spent.

Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry safety standards and company policies.

What We’re Looking For:

Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel or similar)

Previous experience in heavy equipment repair and servicing

Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Ability to operate various tools safely and efficiently

What We Offer:

5 day working week (38 hour minimum) with regular overtime opportunities
