Qualified Forklift Mechanic – Part Time

Eagle Forklifts is seeking a responsible Qualified Forklift Mechanic to join our team. This full-time role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts at customer sites and in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, service, and repair a variety of forklift makes and models.

Maintain accurate records and finalise documentation related to service tasks.

Ensure personal, and workshop cleanliness

Perform duties such as pre-delivery checks, painting machinery, and stocktaking.

Carry out LPG compliance checks.

Order parts as needed to complete tasks efficiently.

Maintain and stock the service van for optimal operation.

Uphold professionalism when communicating with other employees, customers and suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills:

Certificate in Automotive Mechanics and a valid forklift driver’s licence.

Problem-solving skills and initiative to work independently.

Ability to prioritise tasks, manage schedules, and adapt to changing environments.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Commitment to continuous learning and skill development.

Cert III in Light Automotive Certificate achieved or enrolled, or Cert IV in Light Automotive Certificate achieved or enrolled.

Must have experience with hydraulic systems.

Must have experience in light manufacturing of brackets etc, when required.

Must be able to speak English.

Must have a drivers license.

Must have a forklift license.

Must have a work from heights license.
