District Brewer' is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Barista to join our team in Bentleigh, VIC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality coffee beverages in a fast-paced cafe environment. This is a part-time role, offering the flexibility to balance your work with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, filter coffee, and specialty coffee creations

Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about our menu

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring proper food handling and safety protocols are followed

Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee, tea, and other supplies

Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient cafe operation

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee and milk preparation and brewing techniques

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for our customers

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work area

Flexible schedule and availability to work part-time, including weekends and public holidays
