About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Partnerships & Projects Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who is passionate about agriculture and regional communities, and who thrives in a role that combines business development, relationship management, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with partners, sponsors, advertisers, government bodies, industry stakeholders, and commercial funders.
• Identify and secure new commercial and advertising opportunities aligned with partnership, project, and membership strategies.
• Conduct research and analysis to support partnership and project development.
• Support contract negotiations, sponsorship packages, and agreement execution.
• Lead the delivery of partnership programs and externally funded projects, overseeing planning, budgets, governance, and reporting.
• Develop media proposals for advertising partners to meet ROI needs.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and act as the primary point of contact for commercial and advertising partners, ensuring value delivery and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure aligned and successful project outcomes.
• Promote partnerships through events, communications, and digital marketing channels.
• Prepare proposals, business cases, financial reports, and project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
About You
To excel in this role, you will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, communications, or project management.
• Demonstrated success in partnership development, sponsorships, or business development.
• Sound project management skills with experience in planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience within the agriculture or agribusiness sector is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results with minimal supervision.
