About the role

As an Assistant Venue Manager, you will be an integral part of the management team at Naughty Nancy’s, a renowned hospitality venue in the heart of Prahran, Victoria. This is a full-time role where you will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring exceptional customer service and a vibrant atmosphere.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Venue Manager in leading and motivating the front-of-house team

Ensuring efficient and effective floor management, including table allocation for bookings, customer flow, and staff rostering

Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons

Overseeing stock control, inventory management, and cost control measures

Participating in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities

Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food and beverage offerings

Handling customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

Assisting with the training and development of front-of-house staff

What we're looking for

Relevant hospitality management experience, preferably in a similar venue or role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service and the ability to deliver a consistently high-quality experience

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-focused mindset

Proficient in stock control, inventory management, and cost control

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required

A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
