About our team
The Customer Solutions team leads BCE's IT project portfolio, acting as the bridge between IT capabilities and customer needs. They ensure that technology solutions enhance customer interactions, improve experiences, and support BCE's growth. The team fosters a culture of continuous innovation through collaboration and transparency, delivering valuable business outcomes across the digital ecosystem.

The Business Engagement team within our Information & Technology function is dedicated to driving transformative initiatives that empower progress and adoption across our organisation. Partnering with our BCE and Cairns' Schools and head offices, our team harnesses cutting-edge technologies, AI, and best practices to optimise processes, enhance & support user experiences, and ensure the ongoing improvement, integrity, and functionality of our systems. Our mission is to be a trusted partner in driving the success, efficiencies, and growth of our organisation and technology landscape. Our dedicated team of highly skilled System Administrators, Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, & Support Staff, comprised of Business Technology Services, School Technology Services, and Portfolio & Digital Experience manages a wide range of critical systems, including Finance, Payroll, LMS, HRIS, Risk & Compliance, Corporate Intranet, and School Administration & Information systems.

Summary

Showcase your ability as the senior advisor, driving organisational change through process improvements. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operation of D365 Financial Operations, including user maintenance, issue investigation and resolution, and collaboration with business stakeholders and partners. Reporting to the Team Leader - Business Technology Services, you will be part of a small dynamic team working across Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Finance and a Procure to Pay solution.

• Work hours: 38.00 hours per week
• Salary: $133,554.00 - $148,386.00 + super
• Status: Full Time Continuing

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Work in partnership with school-based role holders and leadership teams across area of speciality.
• Provide support across D365 Finance and Operations core modules, including integration with third-party solutions.
• Manage user requests through the Service Desk, including effective triaging and escalation. Monitor system performance and data integrity, providing recommendations and direct actions to sustain or enhance capability.
• Act as the interface between business users and external system support teams, guiding the business on system updates and their impact on business processes.
• Manage financial system upgrades, releases, and associated analysis and testing with stakeholders and vendors.
• Support the administration of finance systems, including system design and configuration.
• Coordinate finance environment changes with other teams and stakeholders. Communicate and collaborate with BCE functional areas to enable changes to operations to be accepted, understood, and adopted.

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Knowledge of D365 FinOps solution and business processes or multiple financial solutions.
• Experience with Procurement (to Pay) solution.
• Leading a variety of projects to meet operational outcomes.
• Analytical in your approach to problem solving.
• Conducted high level reviews and investigations linked to organisational performance.
• Written specialised reports and committee papers on projects you have led.
• Worked with multiple stakeholders and leadership teams in your area of specialty.
• Relevant qualifcation and experience in education, business, information technology, information systems or another relevant field.
