About the role

Kidz Corner Family Day Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Family Day Care Coordinator/Nominated Supervisor to join our team in Springwood, QLD. As a fulltime role, this position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our family day care service, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for the children in our program.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and supervise the activities of family day care educators, providing guidance, support and professional development
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards
• Conduct regular home visits and assessments of family day care educator premises
• Manage the enrolment and placement of children in the family day care service
• Liaise with parents/guardians, educators and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a family day care or similar early childhood setting
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families, educators and the community
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
