As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance, mentoring junior staff, and supporting our clients’ success—every step of the way.
Your Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Australian tax returns, Special purpose financial statements, BAS and FBT returns
Ensure compliance with Australian financial regulations and standards
Engage directly with clients, building trusted relationships
Collaborate directly with partner and managers on international tax and business advisory projects
Mentor and support junior accountants, fostering professional development
Drive process improvements and automation across financial systems
Identify business development opportunities and contribute to strategic growth
What You Bring
4+ years of experience in public practice accounting
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
Experience in financial reporting and compliance in preparation of special purpose financial statements from beginning to end with low level of review points after manager review
Experience in specialized areas of taxation
High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Xero
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
What would be considered favourably
CPA or CA qualified (or progressing towards)
High proficiency in QuickBooks and APS
Experience with year-end tax planning strategies
Experience managing junior team members (preferred but not essential)
Experience in Cross-border taxation, Country-by-Country reporting, Transfer Pricing
