Our wider team consists of 25 Partners and 120 colleagues in our offices across Sydney, Gold Coast and the UK. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant eager to advance to the next level, engaging with a sophisticated client base spanning high-wealth groups, diverse industries, and more. Key Components of Your New Role
Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional client service consistently.
Support accounting partners in drafting financial accounts and tax returns for complex high net worth groups and other ad hoc tasks.
Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player.
Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail, required in preparation and review of periodic compliance work including SMSFs, Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as direct communication with clients is an integral part of the role.
Opportunity to work alongside the Chair and other Partners in completing advisory work on matters including asset protection, tax planning, succession planning, estate planning, due diligence and corporate governance.
Who We’re After
As the ideal candidate, at least 3 years’ experience is preferred; however, all training and mentoring will be provided.
Bachelor’s degree with an accounting major is a requirement.
No work restrictions working in Australia.
CA or CPA or near completion.
Key Qualifications and Attributes Required:
Ability to understand client needs and deliver high-level client service.
Advanced technical knowledge in accounting, including accounting standards and consolidated financial statements.
Proficiency in taxation and corporate accounting, with exposure to taxation consolidation being advantageous.
Hands-on experience in due diligence transactions.
Familiarity with accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, and larger enterprise products.
Strong problem-solving abilities and sound professional judgment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and managing large datasets.
Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management.
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
