We are seeking a talented full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Broadmeadows 3047 and contribute to the development and optimisation of our manufacturing processes and product designs.

The salary offered is $74,000 - $80,000 per annum per annum plus Superannuation.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer at Darkon, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and production processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products for manufacture.

Analyse production schedules, workflows, and layouts to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Develop and implement standards for installation, quality control, testing, and maintenance.

Conduct inspections and performance evaluations of plant equipment and systems.

Coordinate project labour, materials, and equipment delivery.

Establish and maintain documentation for engineering processes and specifications.

Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering principles.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

Proven experience in mechanical design and manufacturing environments.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and project management abilities.

Knowledge of Australian engineering standards and safety regulations.
