Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineering Technician will support the team in the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. This role involves hands-on work, technical documentation, and collaboration with engineers to bring ideas to life from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of mechanical components and systems.

Prepare and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Assemble and test prototypes.

Conduct performance and quality tests and record results.

Support engineers in troubleshooting mechanical issues.

Maintain accurate documentation of work, testing procedures, and results.

Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering departments.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.

2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
