About the role

We are on the lookout for a talented and motivated IT professional. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for service desk with cross over into applications support and infrastructure. This position is based in Perth but plays an integral role within our Adelaide based IT team. This role is 100% office based, 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

Provide Level 1/2 support to both local and remote customers (internal & external), in this role you will be the primary point of contact.

Provide support to our major applications and infrastructure

Deliver a high level of proactive and cooperative customer service

Manage service desk queues, while accurately recording notes and interactions.

Manage user accounts, including the Starters/Movers/Leavers process

Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues on a range of systems

Work with third party hardware/software vendors to log and resolve issues

Contribute and maintain internal knowledge base.

Mandatory skills and experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience working a technical position supporting windows desktop and office 365 environments.

Developed analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and potential solutions.

Demonstrated supporting knowledge of end user computer hardware including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, & printers

Understanding and ability to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10/11, Office 365, Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Terminal Services and Active Directory.

Fundamental network knowledge including TCP/IP, IP addressing/subnets, DHCP, DNS, VLANS, and Client based VPN’s

Experience in using call logging software.

Experience in analysing/troubleshooting and supporting clients remotely via telephone and remote support tools.

ITIL Knowledge

Desired experience:

A fundamental understanding of modern authentication technology such as SSO and MFA/2FA. Okta experience is desired.

Basic experience in management of iOS/Android/Windows devices via MDM solutions including Intune and AirWatch

Basic server management/troubleshooting experience

Basic experience troubleshooting and maintaining server hardware.

Industry certification (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet)
