Warehouse Person – Trucking Spares Industry Oakleigh

Located in Oakleigh, RP Wallis Wholesale are looking for an organized, detail-oriented dynamic warehouse person with a passion for logistics and customer service to join our team in the trucking spares industry!

Key Responsibilities:

Courier Pickups: Book and manage courier pickups for inbound and outbound goods.

Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as necessary to maintain inventory.

Pick and Pack: Efficiently pick and pack goods for dispatch in a timely manner.

Supplier Communication: Handle emails from suppliers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and promptly.

Sales Order Dispatch: Prepare and organize sales orders for dispatch, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Steel Tubing Cutting: Use equipment to cut steel tubing as required for orders.

Shipping Status Investigation: Track and investigate the status of outgoing shipments, resolving any delays or issues.

Warehouse Supplies: Order and maintain stock of essential warehouse supplies.

Sales Order Entry: Accurately enter sales orders into the system for processing.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.

Ability to learn and navigate in-house sales, purchasing, and stock management software.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Forklift certification (preferred but not essential).
