About the role

Harigon Gourmet Foods is seeking a full-time Frozen Food Warehouse Person & Delivery Driver to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after warehouse of dry, chilled and frozen products, packing orders and the safe and timely delivery of our high-quality frozen food products to our valued customers across the city. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of our operations and contribute to the success of our growing business. Our warehouse is based in Highett 3190.

What you'll be doing

Picking and packing orders in sub-zero environment, cold storage facility.

Safely operating a delivery van (must be able to drive manual vehicle) to transport frozen food products to customers throughout Melbourne and possibly some country.

Putting orders together as per order sheets and invoices

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles with care to maintain product quality and integrity

Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road

Providing excellent customer service by ensuring on-time deliveries and maintaining a professional demeanour

Maintaining accurate delivery records and reporting any issues or concerns

Assisting with inventory management and stock checking as needed

Merchandising products when required

Warehousing, palletising and unpalletising products

Be able to follow instructions but also work autonomously

What we're looking for

A valid Australian driver's licence (manual) with a clean driving record

Experience in a delivery or courier role, preferably in the food or logistics industry

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work independently

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

A commitment to safe driving practices and maintaining vehicle cleanliness

The ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy boxes or packages as needed

Forklift license is preferred but not essential
