Position Overview

This is a hands-on, full-time role suited to a proactive and highly organised individual. As the sole Warehouse & Logistics Operator at Hanna Instruments Australia, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory, order fulfilment, freight coordination (domestic and international), and compliance with Dangerous Goods regulations. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming stock, reconcile with purchase orders, and store items appropriately.

Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and within deadlines.

Coordinate all outbound shipments, including courier bookings and documentation for both domestic and international freight.

Prepare and process Dangerous Goods shipments (air freight), ensuring compliance with IATA/IMDG regulations.

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.

Liaise with freight forwarders, couriers, and customs brokers.

Monitor and replenish warehouse consumables and packing materials.

Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environment.

Communicate proactively with customer service and sales teams regarding order status and logistics timelines.

Identify and implement improvements to warehouse and shipping processes.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a standalone warehouse/logistics role.

Strong understanding of export processes and international freight logistics.

Dangerous Goods awareness or certification (IATA/IMDG) or willingness to obtain certification (training can be provided).

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience using ERP or inventory systems (SalesForce).

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Work Hours

Flexible hours available between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, to be agreed with the General Manager
