Land Specialists is a property development and project management company located in the Mariners Centre of Excellence in Tuggerah. We have an in house legal team and are looking to hire a paralegal for 2 or 3 days per week. Our team of specialist lawyers and property consultants are experts in their fields and have experience appearing in various courts, writing legal text books and lecturing at University. The successful candidates will work closely with our legal team to provide support for various legal matters related to large-scale residential ($250M) and commercial development projects ($500M), a Class Action and other commercial litigation matters.

Experience in a law firm is not required, as training will be provided.

Roles and responsibilities

Conducting legal research and gathering information on various legal and property matters.

Drafting legal documents such as contracts, leases and other agreements.

Reviewing legal documents and correspondence to check for accuracy, identifying errors and making necessary revisions.

Providing general support to the legal team on any other matters as required, including assisting with litigation matters.

The ideal candidate:

Must be currently studying a Bachelor of Laws or equivalent. Candidates must have a Distinction or High Distinction grade average.

Must have proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Suite.

Must have an excellent attention to detail and possess strong critical thinking skills.

Must be organised and have good time management skills.

Must have an interest in property law or litigation.
