As a Retail Assistant, you’ll be the face of our retail store in Campbellfield, helping customers find the right products to enhance their camping and RV experiences. From seasoned travelers to first-time campers, you’ll offer expert advice, ensure a fantastic shopping experience, and help keep our store running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Providing friendly and helpful assistance to retail customers with product selection, advice and sales, answering questions and resolving issues. Assist with online and phone inquiries where required.

Sales Transactions: Processing POS payments and handling returns and exchanges accurately.

Store Maintenance: Restocking shelves and ensuring a clean and organised store compliant with safety standards.

Inventory Management: Monitoring store inventory levels and assisting with restocking and warehouse transfers.

Visual Merchandising: Assisting with displaying products and maintaining product presentation

General Tasks: Performing other duties as assigned, which may include cleaning, tidying, and preparing the store for the day.

Core requirements and capabilities:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service, sales or retail

Cash Handling and POS System Proficiency: Accuracy in handling cash and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Customer Service: A "people-first" attitude, prioritizing customer needs. Ability to handle customer queries, complaints and issues.

Sales Skills: Ability to identify customer needs, suggest products, and close sales.

Organizational Skills: Ability to keep track of inventory, restock shelves, and maintain a clean store environment.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborating with other team members to solve problems, deliver exceptional customer service and close sales.

Enthusiasm: Passion for the outdoors, 4x4, RV and camping industries.
