Are you looking for a rewarding full-time role as a Grocery Shop Supervisor and Retail Assistant in the heart of Middle Park, VIC? TVG Shop Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our busy grocery store.

What you'll be doing

Supervising the retail team and ensuring the smooth running of the shop floor

Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their shopping needs

Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and presentable

Handling cash and processing transactions accurately

Assisting with merchandising, displays, and creating an inviting shopping environment

Providing training and support to the retail team

Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a supervisory or retail assistant role within the grocery or convenience store industry

Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a friendly and helpful shopping experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems

A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings
