At OsteoStrong South Melbourne, we are a health-focused wellness centre that helps people build stronger bones, better balance, and greater confidence — especially as they age.

Our approach is one-on-one and appointment-based, giving members a personalised experience with focused attention from their coach. It’s science-backed, results-driven — and yes, fun. Members come for their bones, but stay for the energy, the people, and the way we make them feel.

We’re now looking for a Studio Manager (also referred to as Centre Manager internally) who’s ready to step into a leadership role that’s equal parts strategic, hands-on, and deeply rewarding. You’ll be the person who brings energy, accountability, and results — while building something meaningful alongside a team and a business owner committed to growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take full ownership of the day-to-day operations, team leadership, and performance of the studio. This is a full-time, onsite role (including some Saturdays), with occasional flexibility to handle sales calls or admin tasks remotely as needed.

You’ll be hands-on — not just leading the team, but regularly taking members through their sessions and ensuring the service stays consistent, warm, and professional.

Key Responsibilities

Drive membership growth through a structured acquisition process, including phone-based and in-person consultations and timely follow-ups

Lead, roster, and coach a team of 6 part-time coaches, collaborating closely with the business owner and external support (ads agency and VA)

Foster strong member relationships through personalised check-ins and consistent engagement

Oversee smooth studio operations, uphold high service standards, and streamline marketing/admin with external partners

Manage basic administrative and financial tasks to support efficient studio operations

Report regularly to the business owner, contributing to strategic growth, profitability, and efficient operations

Must-Have Experience

Proven experience significantly growing a fitness or wellness studio’s membership base (ideally to 300+ members, but strong growth outcomes in similar settings are valued)

Strong sales skills — both over the phone and in person

Comfortable with CRM tools (experience with GoHighLevel or similar platforms is a plus; training provided)

Confident with basic spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel)

Experience managing a performance-oriented team

(Bonus) Background, interest, or personal passion for health, wellness, or allied health
